Located past downtown Kamloops on the river.

Drive west on mission flats road until you pass a large treatment plant on the left. Park is then on your right.

Parking on side of road on Kamloops side and then parking lot on other side.
Description:

Government park.
-
Official off leash dog park so be aware of that.

Many trails in and though the park with multiple places to set up by rivers edge.

Sandy beach and when water is low large sand bars.
-
Can be windy at beach.
-
Water levels vary and beach may become less accessible in spring and early summer.

Good mix of males and females at beach.

Beach is not located on a lake but on side of river bank. Water can be fast flowing especially in spring so be very cautious.
