Description:

  • Public and government run. 

  • Several picnic tables and benches available for use.

  • Benches and tables down by beach as well as up top overlooking water.  

  • Garbage cans available and maintained by city of Kelowna. 

  • Signs indicate that beach is "open to all members of the public. Nudity at this beach is neither permitted or condoned by the city of Kelowna and may be subject to prosecution".

  • Park is closed 10pm - 6am.

  • Public will use this location as a dog walk beach.

  • Pathway runs right along beach so be prepared for textiles to walk past you.

  • Beach itself is very rocky and muddy.

  • Recommend bringing footwear to use at all times. 

  • Beach is fairly isolated. Located at bottom of dirt cliff. Unable to see beach from the road.

  • To reach beach you need to follow path and intentionally go down to it. 

Location: 
  • Navigation (google maps on phone) recommended to get to location. 
  • Cedar creek is on the Okanagan lake outside of downtown Kelowna.
  •  Turn south on Pandosy from the highway and follow it until it turns into Lakeshore road. Follow Lakeshore road until you get to park. 
  • There is parking lot at the top of the hill for public use. 
  • You can enter beach from either side. 
  • Signs in park indicate where to go.
